Lighthouse Bistro has been serving the North Shore of Kauai great food and live entertainment in an open air Hawaiian plantation garden setting since 1999. We pride ourselves on using fresh local produce and ingredients to create a unique European, pacific rim, fusion menu.

Ginger Crusted Ono

Owner Matt Ernsdorf, started Lighthouse Bistro in 1999. He started his restaurant career as a bus person 20 years ago in the same building, (formally Casa di Amici Restaurant) and has worked his way through all the positions in the restaurant.

Chef John-Paul Gordon starts with as many local ingredients he can find on Kauai to create a seasonal menu. Lighthouse Bistro was honored with the Best Seafood Dish at the Taste of Hawaii 2011 for our Ginger Crusted Ono with soy wasabi cream sauce and ginger foam. And now The Lighthouse Bistro with chef John-Paul Gordon offer on site and off site catering for groups ranging in size from two to 2,000. John-Paul’s specialty is romantic beach dinners for couples. With experience, passion, hard work and a love for food, we are confidant you will enjoy your visit to the Lighthouse Bistro.
